Situated within our Fairfield Complex, Fairfield House comprises of five stylish student apartments ranging from 5 to 7 bedrooms. It is a refurbished mansion converted into modern Sheffield student apartments in an enclosed student only complex.
Each student home offers a spacious open plan kitchen / living area with a waste disposal unit, dishwasher and dining table with chairs included. There are also a separate utility rooms in each apartment with washing/drying machines. The property boasts modern furnishings and décor throughout whilst still retaining some period features.
Historic Sheffield Student House
Fairfield House is a stunning converted Victorian mansion dating back to the late 1800’s, built during the industrial revolution when Sheffield was a booming industrial city. It was originally owned by a lead merchant/smelter named John Fairburn who purchased the property during construction before completion in 1860. John Fairburn was elected mayor of Sheffield 1872.

We offer free parking for all our tenants living in Fairfield, something that is very rare in Sheffield. Free parking is especially ideal for Sheffield students who have placements out of town.
